WEST LEBANON, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Florence Borders Cronk, 77, of West Lebanon, died at 5:10 p.m. Friday (March 10, 1972) at the Edgeview Nursing Home in Oxford, where she had been a patient since July of 1971. Born Jan. 28, 1895, in Locust Grove, Benton County, she was the daughter of Edward and Sylvia Blaisdell Borders. She married Glenn Cronk June 1, 1922 in Locust Grove. He died Jan. 6, 1960. A life resident of Warren County, she was a graduate of Central Normal Teachers College and the Madame Blakers School for kindergarten teachers. Mrs. Cronk was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in the Warren, Fountain, and Benton County schools for 17 years. She was the West Lebanon public librarian until becoming ill. She was a member of the West Lebanon Christian Church where she taught the Sunday school beginners class for 35 years and is a member of the Missionary Society of the church. She was a member of the West Lebanon Busy Bees Home Demonstration Club, the Woman's Club, and the BPW of Warren County. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Eacret of West Lebanon; three sons, Dale of Mansfield, Ohio, Roy of West Lebanon, and Max of Lafayette, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the West Lebanon Christain Church, with the Rev. Henry Koch officiating. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery. Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home. The body will be at the church an ….   --– jlr
